The Rapid Response Network is a group of key media and corporate partners who help us launch our emergency appeals at very short notice, getting the message out and making it easy for the UK public to donate quickly and seamlessly. They include the main national broadcasters, banks, technology partners, retail partners and others.

CASE STUDY: PAYPAL

PayPal raise millions of pounds for our appeals. They amplify DEC appeals by sending an email communication out to all opted-in PayPal customers at appeal launch. At the same time, they improve supporter experience by creating a dedicated fundraising page and using their “Give at Checkout” initiative.

Their launch email raised an incredible £2.9 million for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, before Gift Aid.

CASE STUDY: NATWEST GROUP

NatWest Group has introduced a notification prompting users to donate to DEC Appeals from within its banking apps, with incredible results.

This easy and innovative donation functionality has proved a popular way for customers to support DEC appeals, and has raised over £5 million for the last 4 appeals winning multiple awards.

NatWest also collect donations in branch, encourage staff fundraising, and provide customers with the ability to donate their MyRewards. They also match fund a portion of donations to encourage their customers’ generosity.
