We are pivotal in co-ordinating the UK public's response to overseas disasters.

Since our launch in 1963, we have run over 75 fundraising appeals and raised more than £2bn, saving countless lives and rebuilding communities.

We are seeking a Finance & Administrative Officer to join us on a full-time, permanent, basis, to support the Finance Manager [and in part to the Director of Finance & Resources, HR Manager] and their team to process the day-to-day transactions, and reporting cycles associated with an income and grant giving driven operations.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone qualified by experience to be responsible for several financial processes and reconciliations, such as banking, coding income, credit card transactions, expenses etc. Your flair for effective finance administration will hold you in good stead to add value to a smoothly driven operating function.

We’re looking for someone experienced with using Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Word, and Outlook, in addition to Adobe Acrobat. You should also be comfortable in using Sun Accounts, or similar.

Strong interpersonal skills are required for this role to be able to respond to colleagues, other key stakeholder needs, with respect and intention to provide an excellent and efficient service.
