The DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal was launched in March 2022, soon after the escalation of conflict. This allowed DEC charities and their local partners to scale up their humanitarian response in Ukraine and also in neighbouring countries to support refugees in Romania, Poland, Moldova and Hungary.
Thanks to the generosity of the UK public that has raised over £425 million so far, this is one of the DEC's largest ever humanitarian response programmes.
These reports detail how funds have been used by DEC members and their partners through the various phases of response as the needs of affected communities change. They also review key aspects of humanitarian programming such as cash support and reflect on learning and accountability to improve programme quality.
